Juice It Up! raises funds for muscular dystrophy

Irvine-based Juice It Up! teamed with customers to raise funds for the 33rd annual Muscular Dystrophy Assn. Shamrock program.

Juice It Up! helped raise $15,000 to benefit the MDA, according to a news release. Since becoming involved, the company has raised over $26,000 for the organization.

For the past two years, Juice It Up! has supported the MDA’s efforts in raising funds to provide life-enhancing programs to help those battling muscle disease.

This year, more than 70 Juice It Up! locations participated in a monthlong MDA Shamrock program, promoting shamrock donations to guests, with contributions going directly to the organization, the release states.

“Yet again, we are inspired by our employee and customer involvement and their enthusiasm to support such a worthy cause as the MDA,” said Director of Marketing Rachel Turney in the release.

Juice It Up! and the MDA plans to hold a check presentation at 10 a.m. Friday at Juice It Up!’s headquarters in Irvine. For more information, visit https://www.mda.org/shamrocks or https://www.juiceitupfranchise.com.
