Irvine police are looking for a man they believe exposed himself to at least three girls in the last two months.

About 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, two 15-year-old girls were walking near West Yale Loop and Warner Avenue and then went their separate ways before being approached by the man, according to a news release from Irvine police.

The man pulled his car up to the curb next to one of the girls and tried to get her to look into the passenger window. When she didn’t, the man drove up to the second girl while she was crossing the street near West Yale Loop and Stone Creek North.

Police say he motioned for her to look into his window with one hand and exposed himself with his other hand when the girl looked down.

Detectives think the same man exposed himself to two more girls within the last few weeks.

On the afternoon of Jan. 15, the man walked up to a young girl and asked for directions while he was exposed through his unzipped pants, police said. He allegedly did the same thing again Feb. 4.

All the incidents took place in Irvine’s Woodbridge neighborhood.

Police described the man as light skinned, 20 to 30 years old with short dark brown hair. In Wednesday’s incident, he drove a four-door sedan with tinted windows.

Anyone with information about these incidents or the suspect is asked to contact Irvine police at (949) 724-7200.
