Scott Wayne McClellan was born in Hoag Hospital March 18, 1969. He grew up playing soccer and swimming. He attended Carden Hall and then graduated from Newport Harbor High School where he played water polo. He was a lifeguard in the summers for the City of Newport Beach. He moved to Eugene, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon. He worked at the University and lived and worked in Eugene until his death. He loved his adopted state of Oregon. He most enjoyed bicycling, the Ducks, guitar music, camping, the”Y” and Mongolian Bar-B-Q.
He leaves behind his immediate family; his parents, Jerry and Bonnie McClellan of Newport Beach, his sister, Amy McClellan Fitzgibbon of Sacramento and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. His ashes will be scattered in Oregon, the state he loved.
