Joanne Louise Wiley<br/>November 3, 1930 - October 25, 2014

Joanne Louise Wiley (Hartsell), age 83, died in Lake Forest, California, on Saturday, October 25, 2014.

Joanne was born in Eureka, California, on November 3, 1930 to John and Grace Hartsell. The family moved to Bridgeport, Texas, shortly after Joanne was born. Joanne had many fond memories of life in Texas, where she excelled as a student and learned to drive at 13 for her first job – delivering milk to residents of her small town.

Joanne met her husband, Troyce Wiley, while working at Convair in Fort Worth. In 1958, Troyce and Joanne moved to Costa Mesa, California, where they raised their three children. Joanne worked for Hughes Aircraft in Irvine until her retirement in 1989.

She enjoyed her daily walks, decorating her home, sewing, gardening and traveling with Troyce in their RV.

Joanne was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Mema. She treasured time spent with family and friends. Joanne lovingly cared for Troyce until his death on June 22, 2014.

Joanne is survived by her children Pat (Liz) Wiley, Sue (Tom) Moore, Mike (Lauren) Wiley; grandchildren Sarah, Dana, Taylor, Anna, Nicholas and Keaton; great-grandchildren Keira, Emily and James; and sister Peggy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Troyce, and her sister Patsy.
