The Lord welcomed Jeremy “Jerry” home to be in His presence on May 29, 2011. He passed peacefully in his home in Newport Beach, CA surrounded by his children and close friend and caregiver Lawrence. Jerry fought a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease for over (20) years. Born in Tucson, AZ Jerry spent his early years in Pasadena, CA and out of school moved south and became a long time resident of Corona del Mar, CA. He worked in the mortgage and real estate development industry. Jerry was loved by all who knew him and he cherished his friendships. Jerry was very special, had a very generous heart which was evident in the way he lived his life; he always put others first. He greatly enjoyed restoring classic cars (especially Ford Mustangs), windsurfing and in his younger years, body and board surfing. He was very handy and could fix most anything. Jerry belonged to Mariners Church in Irvine. He is survived by his three children: Jeffrey Hill of Newport Beach, CA, Jami Farris of Kahana, Maui, HI, and Nicole Wise of Lincoln, CA. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at sea on Monday June 6, 2011 for close friends and family.
