DULIN, Gene
July 13, 1917- March 4, 2013

Miss Gene Dulin, 95, of Newport Beach, California passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, March 4, 2013.

Gene was born in Missouri, the only child of Eugene and Myrtle (Starling) Dulin.
Her father died shortly before Gene’s birth. She and her mother moved to Oklahoma
to be with relatives for several years before moving to California in the late 1920’s.

She graduated from Stanford University in 1939 and obtained a clerical job with the Western Air Corp during WWII. She became a teacher after the war and taught Social Studies at Ensign Intermediate School in Newport Beach for over 30 years. Many of her students kept in touch with her for the rest of her life.

Several cousins and their families who reside across the country survive Gene. A small group of close friends and neighbors who created a supportive and loving local family for her also survive her. Gene will be fondly remembered by all.
