Doris Croxon, a resident of Regents Point in Irvine, passed away on May 23, 2013.Doris was born in Pasadena and attended Pasadena City College and, later, the School of Executive Training at the University of Washington. She was married in Pasadena and had one daughter, Patricia Anne Croxon Turner, who predeceased her.

For 29 years Doris was employed by Newport Balboa Savings and Loan Association, later known as Imperial Savings and Loan Association, first as an escrow officer and later as Vice-President and Manager of the Corona del Mar Office in Newport Center until her retirement in 1980.

Doris visited Papua, New Guinea four times and spent most of one year in Australia while her family was involved in the Missionary Field in those areas. She is survived by her granddaughter, Kristen Turner Janga, her husband, Joseph Janga and two children, Eliza and Pranay, as well as Kristen’s father, Blaine Turner and his wife, Jean Turner. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Peter.
