Catherine Lynn Smith<br/>May 22, 1961 - August 9, 2014

Catherine Lynn Gautreau Smith, peacefully passed away of a heart attack at her home in Newport Beach, California Saturday August 9th, 2014.

Cathy was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, May 22, 1961, she was only 53 years young when she passed. Cathy grew up in New Ipswich, New Hampshire where she made many friends and was surrounded by her loving family which included her mother, 5 siblings and many extended family members.

After College, Cathy moved to California where she met the love of her life, her husband of 29 years Mark Smith. Together they had three beautiful children: daughter Kelly 27, son Scott 25 and daughter Katelynn 24. They all enjoyed a wonderful life filled with laughter and great fun in Newport Beach, CA.

Cathy was predeceased by her father William Gautreau, mother Roberta Petley, sister Debra Gautreau and niece Jessamy Gautreau.

Cathy is survived by sisters Bonnie Gautreau of Cocoa Beach FL, Suzanne Oda (Rich) of Ladera Ranch, CA, brothers Timmy Gautreau of Pasadena, CA and Tony Gautreau (Marlowe) of New Ipswich, NH as well as aunts Donna Lockhart of Pasadena, CA and Gloria Anderson of Bedford, NS, uncles Everett Petley (Kay) of Harcourt, NB, Alcide Gautreau (Bev) of Moncton, NB and many cousins, nieces and nephews all too numerous to mention.

Cathy will be sadly missed and forever loved by all who knew her. We will never forget all the great times we spent together.
