Alban Ann Stern<br/>March 21, 1937 - August 22, 2014

Long-time Newport Beach resident Ann Stern passed away from a stroke at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Fountain Valley on August 22. She was 77 years old.

Ann delighted in spending time with her Newport Beach crowd, and her happiest moments were spent in supporting local chapters of various causes: Lion’s Club, Cystic Fibrosis, O.C. Philharmonic Society, Newport Beach Arts Council, Women of Chapman University, and other fundraising ventures. She was a member of numerous book, dining and birthday clubs.

Ann is predeceased by her husband, a long-standing Newport Beach attorney, Wolf Stern.

At her hospital bedside were daughter Wendy, son Bruce and brother Rob.

She is survived by three children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She will be missed.
