Ron was born to Harry and Yetta Agins in Corona, California. He joined the family made up of Leona, Sam, Bette, and Obby. Ron being the youngest was treasured by all his family. Friends that he made early in life have lasted to the end.
Ron attended Corona High School, was considered an exceptional athlete and graduated with honors. He went on to Chaffey College but did not go all the way through because he already knew what he needed to know.
His first job was as an usher at the old Corona theatre.
Ron loved custom cars and racing which propelled him and his brother Obby into the auto parts business and to the sales of new and used cars.
Ron loved good music and he had a wonderful deep voice. He studied voice at UCLA and sang in many productions in Los Angeles and the local area. He helped in the formation of the Performing Arts in Orange County.
He was an ardent fisherman and yachts man. He fished the ocean from Alaska to Mexico. He owned a houseboat at Dana Point for many years that was the fun place to be in the summer for family and friends.

Along with his brother, Obby, he founded Agins Development Corporation and actively developed property in California, Arizona, and Nevada. They developed auto dealerships, industrial and commercial buildings as well as mobile home parks. He was very involved in the formation of building, fabrication and sales of mobile homes.
He had a reputation for honesty to the industry that led to many partnerships that were formed by only a handshake (of course a contract followed the handshake).
His philanthropy was wide spread and he gave to many charities. He had an open and generous heart.
One of the best things about Ron was his wit and humor. The smile and twinkly eyes that just drew everyone in to be close to him.
There was a life long friendship between Ron and his brother Obby. They were not only brothers, but friends and great business partners. They partnered without rancor or argument for over 60 years. They were always in total agreement and Obby attributes so much to Ron’s mild disposition and their complete mutual respect for each other.
Ron never was involved in cross words or arguments with his parents or with his siblings and they all loved each other so much and had fun being together.
Ron married Sandra Keith and they had one son, Van.
Later Ron Married Trudi Prath and they had a wonderful marriage. These last several years Trudi has been the main stay making Ron comfortable.
And besides Trudi there is his surviving brother, Albert “Obby” Agins (Alison) his much loved and cherished granddaughter, Isadora and his son Van.
There are Nieces and Nephews that will miss his fun, wit and wisdom.
Ron also leaves behind two stepdaughters and a stepson and seven great-grandchildren.
Ron leaves behind so many friends that have loved him for years.
Ron Agins is at peace and pain free after fighting a long hard fight against cancer.
