LA Fitness opening new location at Crossroads

Irvine-based LA Fitness has opened a new location in the city which features a variety of amenities, according to a news release.

The 50,000-square-foot facility opened earlier this month at the Crossroads shopping center at Culver Drive and Barranca Parkway, according to an announcement from the Irvine Co., which owns the center.

The members-only sports club has a full-size basketball court, five racquetball courts, whirlpool spa, four-lane pool, two rooms for group exercise and cycling, and more than 100 pieces of new cardio equipment.

It is the company’s third location in the city. LA Fitness operates about 500 locations thought the U.S. and Canada.
