Union Bank opens branch in Mesa Verde shopping center

Share

COSTA MESA — Union Bank has opened a new full-service branch, bank officials announced earlier this month.

The 3,500-square-foot facility is in the Mesa Verde shopping center on Harbor Boulevard and Adams Avenue. The space was formerly occupied by a Hollywood Video store.

Another Southern California branch was opened in El Monte, according to a press release.

“Opening these two branches in El Monte and Costa Mesa is a natural outgrowth for Union Bank, which has a rich history of providing Southern California residents with a full range of financial services,” according to a statement from Michael Feldman, executive vice president and head of California branch banking for Union Bank. “Both branches will provide our consumer and business customers with greater access to more Union Bank financial experts right where they live and work.”

Heading the team in the Costa Mesa branch is Irma Castaneda, a member of the National Latin Business Women Assn. of Orange County, former member of the Santa Ana Kiwanis and former member of the Santa Ana YMCA Board of Directors.

The Costa Mesa branch is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
