Newport company acquires CannaCare.com

COSTA MESA — LC Luxuries Ltd., a company headquartered in Newport Beach, announced Monday that it has acquired CannaCare.com, an Internet domain name, which the company will develop as its marketing engine for the medical marijuana industry, according to a GlobeNewswire report.

LC Luxuries plans to launch the website at the end of the year, and Bonni Goldstein, M.D., a company board member, will be involved with the site’s content and direction, GlobeNewswire reported.

“The information available to the public today about the application of medicinal cannabis is fragmented and confusing,” Goldstein said. “Our goal is to consolidate accurate information and provide a website that is relevant, informative, educational and objective.”

LC Luxuries Limited is based in Nevada and its headquarters are in Newport Beach, according to the GlobeNewswire report.
