Anthropologie, Joie open in shopping centers

Anthropologie is opening its Orange County flagship location at South Coast Plaza on Friday.

The 11,000-square-foot store is on the first level in the Crate and Barrel wing on the Bear Street side of the Costa Mesa shopping center, according to South Coast Plaza officials.

The store, known for selling high-end bohemian and earthy items, will carry women’s clothing and accessories, including fashion jewelry, handbags and shoes. The store will also carry household and kitchen items.

Anthropologie is offering an additional 25% off sale through the end of Friday.

Fashion Island store opening

The single-brand boutique Joie has opened its first West Coast location at Fashion Island.

The store near the Atrium Lawn in the Newport Beach shopping center sells casual, comfortable and understated yet sophisticated designs.

The store is offering a gift with each purchase through July 31, according to a Fashion Island news release. Customers must present the email that was sent by Fashion Island about the store opening to receive the gift.
