Costa Mesa High School's skateboarding team took first place in an OC Skateboarding League contest Friday at Volcom Skate Park in Costa Mesa. The team competed against three other high school teams — Northwood, San Clemente and Mission Viejo. Three Costa Mesa riders made the finals: Michael Scheidt, Sterling Wright and Dominick Walker.
