Laguna Woods group endorses Bob Rush

The Laguna Woods Democratic Club has given its support to 74th Assembly District candidate Bob Rush, according to a news release this week.

“We are proud to endorse Bob Rush for the state Assembly,” club President Linda Nearing said in a prepared statement. “We need a strong leader in Sacramento who is willing to work with all parties to find real solutions to the enormous problems facing our state and we believe Bob Rush is that person.”

Rush is owner of US Realty Group, a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Newport Beach, which he founded in 1997. He was recently awarded the Top 10 Stars of Commercial Real Estate Award by the South Coast Metro Alliance, according to his campaign website.

“I am truly honored to have the endorsement of the Laguna Woods Democratic Club,” Rush said in a prepared statement. “Their support is a major boost to my campaign and we will go on to win in November.”

The 74th Assembly District includes parts of Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Woods and Laguna Beach.
