Film festival may take legal action against actor

Organizers of the Newport Beach Film Festival are considering legal action against actor/comedian Andy Dick for his reportedly outlandish behavior at the Newport Beach Film Festival last month, RadarOnline.com reported.

According to the celebrity website, witnesses reported seeing Dick crash a festival party, expose himself and then rub his genitalia against a display table.

Dick reportedly urinated on a display booth backdrop before tearing the whole display down, causing thousands of dollars in damage, RadarOnline and the Orange County Register reported.

Todd Quartararo, spokesman for the film festival, did not answer calls for comment Saturday. Attempts to reach Dick were unsuccessful Saturday.

Film festival officials have been in contact with Dick’s representatives, the Register reported.

If celebrity news sites are to be believed, this would be only the latest unwelcomed appearance by Dick’s genitalia in recent months. RadarOnline reports that a Texas man is suing the actor after Dick allegedly rubbed his exposed privates against the man’s face during a stand-up comedy routine.

Dick has been arrested numerous times during his career for intoxicated antics. He was arrested earlier this month in Temecula for allegedly being drunk and disorderly at a restaurant there.
