A Costa Mesa woman has been sentenced to three years in state prison for her involvement in an identity theft ring that charged thousands of dollars in merchandise at Best Buy stores throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Georgia Lichia Su, 41, plead guilty to one felony count second-degree burglary and one felony count to commit grand theft and forging, according to a news release released by the Orange County district attorney’s office.

On April 28, 2010, Tustin and Orange police searched Su’s home and found thousands of stolen identities, laser printers, blank credit cards, and a credit card making machine, the statement said. Su was described as the “mastermind in the identity theft ring,” in the release.
