South Coast Plaza adds new stores, hosts garden show

Luxury lifestyle brand Diane von Furstenberg has debuted its first Orange County store at South Coast Plaza, according to the shopping center’s newsletter.

The clothier, known for its bright prints and wrap dresses, opened April 1 in a 1,900-square-foot space on Level 1 of the Saks Fifth Avenue wing.

High-end shoe brand Roger Vivier is set to open its first West Coast flagship boutique April 12.

South Coast Plaza will also host the Southern California Garden Show from April 26 to 29.

More than 100,000 garden and horticulture enthusiasts are expected to attend the 23rd annual event, which takes place in Crate and Barrel/Macy’s Home Store wing.

This year’s theme is “Healing Gardens,” with more than two dozen speakers lined up to speak on topics of native plants, natural remedies, organic growing and using repurposed materials in gardening.
