Police searching for missing Costa Mesa resident
Costa Mesa police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing adult who suffers from dementia and is in need of medication for a heart related ailment, according to a release issued Tuesday night.
Vo Van Nguyen, 78, was last seen at his home in the 2900 block of Mendoza Avenue at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Family members searched the neighborhood and contacted police, according to the release.
Nguyen may seem confused as to where he is if contacted. He is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 140 pounds and has brown eyes and graying black hair, the release states. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, black pants and brown shoes. He speaks only Vietnamese.
