Sage Hill alumni make Forbes list

Two recent graduates of Newport Coast private school Sage Hill were named in Forbes magazine’s “30 under 30 list.”

Mark Ramadan, 25, was recognized in the category of food and wine and Matthew Schlicht, 23, for social and mobile.

Ramadan is the co-founder of Sir Kensington’s Gourmet Scooping Ketchup, which is sold by more than 1,000 retailers, including Whole Foods and Williams-Sonoma. Ramadan started the venture with Scott Norton in their Brown University dorm room before launching in 2010.

Schlicht is the co-founder of Tracks.by, a music startup that was responsible for growing rapper Lil Wayne’s Facebook by 30 million followers. Schlicht started the foundation of his company at Sage Hill, where he met his partner, Mazy Kazerooni.

The magazine recognized young professionals, “today’s disrupters and tomorrow’s brightest stars” in art and design, energy, entertainment, finance, food and wine, law and policy, media, music, real estate, science, technology and social and mobile.
