Photo Gallery: Students dissect organs
Davis Magnet School fifth-grade students celebrated Valentine¿s Day with a different kind of heart ¿ sheep hearts that is. The students, dressed in scrubs, dissected sheep hearts, eyes and brains as the culminating activity for their four-week science unit on the human body. Pediatric neuro surgeons, nuclear medicine specialists, nurses and cardiology specialists lead the dissection as part of Medical Residency Day.
