The chief executive of an Irvine-based recruiting company will lead Working Wardrobes’ board of directors for 2013, the Costa Mesa-based nonprofit announced this week.

Kim Shepherd of Decision Toolbox said in a prepared statement that with her newly chosen board colleagues’ help, she wants to expand the footprint of the organization.

“The brain trust that we have at the board table this year is amazing, and I plan to wring every drip of creativity out of them,” Shepherd said. “Our goal is to double Working Wardrobes in size by 2017, which will allow us to serve more than 10,000 clients throughout Southern California each year.”

Working Wardrobes helps its clients, who include veterans, with services that involve job placement, career development and wardrobe assistance so that they may enter the workforce.

“We have a record-setting year in 2012, and I’m excited to have this team of Orange County business professionals on our board to lead new initiatives and increase our corporate awareness in 2013,” Working Wardrobes CEO and founder Jerri Rosen said in a prepared statement.

The new board members also include Newport Beach resident Anh Tran and Jannah Devine of UBS bank’s Newport office.
