OC Mix opening up to family events

Share

The OC Mix is planning to host a family event each month, beginning Jan. 19.

The Family Fair is free for visitors to the Costa Mesa marketplace, which is in the midst of shortening its name from OC Mart Mix to OC Mix. It has more than 25 small shops and is within the South Coast Collection commercial complex.

The Jan. 19 fair goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Activities include arts and crafts at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, rock wall climbing at the Gear Co-Op, a kiddie booth at the farmers market and story time at Granola Babies.

“SoCo Collection is growing as a Costa Mesa community center where people can are bring their families, discover all kinds of ‘foodie finds’ and enjoy shopping and eating local at our stores and at the SoCo Farmers’ Market,” said Anais Tangie, director of events and marketing coordinator. “We wanted to reward our loyal customers with more fun family things to do while they are here at the OC Mart Mix and strolling throughout SoCo Collection.”

The OC Mix is at 3313, Hyland Ave., Suite C, Costa Mesa. For more information, visit https://www.shoptheocmix.com.
