Prom dresses needed by charities

Some Orange County nonprofits need donations of prom dresses and accessories for an annual day of empowerment for at-risk girls.

Women Helping Women/Men2Work is partnering with Girls Inc. of Orange County and Orangewood Children’s Foundation for their sixth “Belle of the Ball.”

On March 23, about 350 at-risk teenage girls will hear speakers, attend body image and empowerment workshops, and receive free prom dresses and accessories at Orange Coast College.
