Editor’s note: This corrects the spelling of Christopher Duma and Judy Voltmer’s last names.

A very special luncheon — intimate and inspirational — unfolded March 27 at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort. The Foundation for Neurosciences, Stroke and Recovery (FNSR) welcomed 60 passionate guests for luncheon by the bay and to participate in a session with Dr. Christopher Duma, executive director of FNSR, Allison Smith-Conway of Parkinson’s In Balance and Todd Bischoff, also a Parkinson’s activist.

The luncheon raised $15,000, which will be used by FNSR to support individuals and families affected by neurological ailments. Among the guests supporting the event were Kathy and Tom Ferry, Richard and Judy Voltmer, Dennis and Sarah Drislane, Victor and Tamara Pinenta and Claudia Schou.
