Former “Baywatch” star Jeremy Jackson was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of fleeing after stabbing a man in Westlake, only to be found the next day prowling the same neighborhood, police said.

Jackson, who also goes by the last name Dunn, was taken into custody Saturday for assault with a deadly weapon, said Los Angeles police Det. Joe Rios.

Jackson was released that same day on bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Police said it started Friday when officers received a call that someone stabbed a man with a knife in the 1600 block of 7th Street.

The man suffered a stab wound to his left upper torso and was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, Rios said.

His assailant fled before police arrived at the scene.

But the man identified his attacker as “Hobie” – the name of Jackson’s character on the hit TV show, he said.

The next day, police received a report of a possible prowler wandering the 700 block of South Union Avenue.

Officers stopped that alleged prowler and discovered it was Jackson – who was wanted in the stabbing, Rios said. He was immediately arrested.

The 34-year-old Newport Beach native played Hobie Buchannon, the son of Mitch Buchannon performed by David Hasselhoff, from Seasons 2 to 9 on the ‘90s TV show.

During an interview with E!, he admitted to suffering from a severe drug addiction that ultimately led to his decision to leave “Baywatch.” He used methamphetamine and abused alcohol.

He later starred on “Celebrity Rehab” because of his addiction to human growth hormones. Earlier this year, he starred in “Celebrity Big Brother UK” and was removed from the home after exposing a fellow castmate’s breasts.
