President Jim Fitzpatrick called the fact that a city employee possibly faces misdemeanor charges “very, very disappointing.” He did not express disappointment with the Orange County district attorney’s office or the sign vandalism charges themselves.

Jack Wu column: Jack Wu’s column made reference an Orange County city official arrested on suspicion of stealing campaign signs several years ago. The column failed to mention that the charges had been dropped.
