Mayor: In the Aug. 14 letter, “Council puts blame on wrong person,” Costa Mesa Mayor Eric Bever’s last name was misspelled.

Council: The sub-headline on the Aug. 14 article “Council to look at seawalls” incorrectly reported the Newport Beach Fire Department’s new union contract was worth $1.3 million. That amount is actually the cost of the proposed seawalls contract.
