Diane von Furstenberg to visit Nordstrom

A legendary fashion icon, whose designs wrap women of every shape and age, is making an appearance Friday at South Coast Plaza.

Diane von Furstenberg will be at Nordstrom from 6 to 8 p.m. for the launch of her new fragrance, Diane, a scent embellished with patchouli, violet and frangipani flower.

Her visit at South Coast Plaza will be the first in Orange County, said Nordstrom store manager Robert Evans.

“I think it’s really exciting that our customers will have the opportunity to meet someone who’s a living fashion icon,” Evans said. “She’s been such an inspiration to women around the world.”

Von Furstenberg will be in the fragrance section on the first floor of the store. Those who buy her fragrance will have the chance to meet her and get her autograph.
