Hoag hires new communications officer

Nina Robinson, a former Irvine Co. employee, has been hired by Hoag Hospital’s communication department, a hospital administrator confirmed Tuesday.

The hospital plans to release a statement about the new hire in the coming weeks, said spokeswoman Tracy McCarthy.

Robinson formerly served as vice president of marketing and communications at Newport Beach-based Irvine Co. retail properties, where she started in 1997, according to her profile on LinkedIn.

She has an undergraduate degree in marketing and finance from Woodbury University, according to the profile.
