Paul Allen Harris, beloved husband, father, son and brother, died November 23, 2011 of multiple illnesses. Born May 18, 1953 at Weaverville, California, he arrived in Orange with his parents and older brother before his first birthday and lived the rest of his life in Orange County. He attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Orange; he graduated from Orange High School in 1971. His primary career was in the maintenance, repair and sales of computerized medical laboratory equipment, and he was known in all the regional hospitals. He and his wife, Nancy Palmer, were married June 22, 1980. They have lived in Costa Mesa since 1985. Their son, Scott, was born in 1985 and their daughter, Allyson, in 1987. In addition to his wife and children, Paul is survived by his parents, John and Caryl, and his brothers, Eric, Jerry, Tim, and Todd.

Paul was a devoted husband to his wife and father to his children. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to help. One could not have asked for a better son or brother. In his own words, he “had a good run” at life. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed.

Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park, 1625 Gisler Ave., Costa Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association are requested.
