Pet of the Week

Share

All dressed up for Halloween, this little guy promises more treat than trick. Bandit was rescued last month from another shelter that was overcrowded. Since then, this Chihuahua mix has proved to be a model resident.

Bandit is house-trained, affectionate with people, well-behaved around other dogs and unusually quiet. At about 3 years old, he is in good health and was recently neutered. Last weekend, he charmed everyone who visited the Orange County Humane Society booth at an event in Huntington Harbour, where the shelter animals showed off their holiday costumes.

With slightly more than 4 pounds packed into a lean physique, he trots along confidently on his walks. This is one bandit who will steal only your heart.
