Pet of the Week

Share

Helen is a dainty miniature poodle mix, with excellent manners and a sweet disposition.

How she became a stray is unknown and especially sad, because this little dog is blind in one eye, which makes it slightly difficult for her to navigate. For example, when walking, she pauses briefly at a step to judge its height before proceeding forward. Except for her impaired vision, Helen is healthy, spayed and evidently house-trained.

She is about 8 years old, weighs a mere 8 pounds and has a hypoallergenic coat. Helen is gently affectionate and would be an ideal companion pet in a relatively quiet and orderly home, since partial sightedness could challenge her ability to cope in an environment with too much activity or frequently changing conditions.

Her adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when this announcement is mentioned. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
