Pet of the Week

Share

Buddy was rescued two months ago from another shelter by a family with a new baby. The situation became overwhelming for the parents, who recently surrendered Buddy to the Orange County Humane Society shelter.

He deserves a home where all his good qualities are appreciated. A Golden Retriever mix and about 3 years old, this boy is healthy and neutered. Buddy is house-trained, responds to basic commands and will fetch his leash for a walk.

With a happy and mellow personality, he is good with kids and enjoys belly rubs. Goldens are typically eager to please and, like all young dogs, Buddy will benefit from continued training. It is always advisable, when other animals reside in a household, for potential adopters to assure a new dog is properly introduced into the environment.
