Pet of the Week

Share

True to his name, Cocoa does resemble a frothy confection — especially when the wind ruffles his fur, as shown in this photo. Unfortunately, this sweet boy had to be given up when his owner’s change in living conditions excluded pets.

Originally from Hawaii, Cocoa was surrendered together with another dog no longer at the shelter. However, he is faring well on his own, walking sprightly and giving kisses to all who greet him. This Yorkshire terrier mix is healthy and neutered and weighs 11 pounds. At 8 years young, he is still in the prime of this breed’s life, which is evidenced by his lively temperament. Cocoa’s owner described him as loving, playful and sometimes mischievous. He was also reported to be good with kids and other animals.

Cocoa’s adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when you mention this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit ochumanesociety.com.
