Willie Nelson is a handsome 2 1/2-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix who came to the shelter in January as a stray.

Unlike his namesake country singer, he would rather not be “On the Road Again.” Instead, he would prefer to find a new forever home where he could be “Always on [Your] Mind.” Willie is healthy, house-trained, happy to be petted and exhibits no behavioral issues.

For a big boy (approximately 60 pounds), he is surprisingly easy to walk and appears to get along well with other dogs. Willie is among several highly adoptable larger dogs who have been in the shelter far too long. Come and find a friend who will bring love and companionship into your life.
