Joshua (HB Independent / January 16, 2013)

Weighing less than five pounds, Joshua is a two-year-old Chihuahua mix with a lovable personality. A stray on arrival, he had a skin condition requiring treatment; however, now he is healthy, neutered and ready to settle into a new home.

Well-behaved and affectionate toward people, Joshua is also comfortable with most dogs. He is calm, appears to be house-trained and walks obediently on leash. His soft coat is a warm brown, but not "warm" enough to keep out the chill of winter weather. We have been dressing him in an assortment of cozy sweaters, which he seems to enjoy.

His photo shows he is all ears, waiting to hear his name and greet you with a wagging welcome. Joshua's adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when you mention this announcement at the Orange County Humane Society, 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach.
