Pacific Festival brings the party to the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort

Music, food and art landed on the sand Saturday when the Pacific Festival returned to Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort this year.

The one-day festival has been held since 2010, but this weekend was only its second stint at the Dunes.

Eighteen and older fans on the beach or in the water listened to acts such as Poolside, Bag Raiders, Miami Horror and Holy Ghost! from 1 to 9 p.m.

The party was set to continue after sunset at the Observatory in Santa Ana, with Giorgio Moroder headlining the event.
