In the months leading up the 125th annual Orange County Fair, officials are hosting a series of “pop-up parties.”

The events take the cue from the fair’s theme, “One Big Party,” and will feature free desserts and prizes, including fair tickets.

The first two pop-up events are in Costa Mesa. The first is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Blackmarket Bakery, 2937 Bristol St., and the second is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at the fairgrounds’ Food Truck Fare event near the Pacific Amphitheatre, 88 Fair Drive.
