Pets of the Week

Community Animal Network asks for the public’s help in moving a cat family, in groups, to foster care.

Cher (Siamese mix) and Jagger (black and white) will stay together, Madonna (Siamese mix) will stay with Lady Gaga (Siamese mix), and 6-month-old kittens Jewell (classic calico), Rihanna (diluted calico), Halle (gray and white) and Presley will go to another home.

Cher purrs upon seeing a person and follows him or her everywhere. Jagger is cuddly and considered a special-needs kitten, with a condition that affects his fine motor skills and balance. He tumbles often and then scoots around to continue his play. He is very attached to his mother, Cher.

Madonna and Lady Gaga make a nice mother-daughter pair. Madonna seeks attention by reaching her paw out, and Lady Gaga is exceptionally sweet. Gaga also has balance issues but less so. She can climb and jump on furniture.

Rihanna has the mildest condition. She loves playing with Presley and Halle, who have no medical condition, and they all play and wrestle and afterward like to cuddle and be held.

Halle has a calm about her and likes to just hang out. She pairs well with Jewell.

Presley is curious and the first to run forward to greet a visitor. He loves to be held, is very playful and enjoys the scratching post.

Jewell is classically beautiful and ladylike and then growls when she is attacking her toy mouse.
