Pianist Lang Lang reschedules O.C. appearance

Pianist Lang Lang postponed his scheduled performance in Orange County and rescheduled his appearance.

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County announced that the concert, originally scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, will be Oct. 19 at the same venue and time.

Lang Lang’s program will not be changed and will include Bach’s Italian Concerto in F major; Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons,” Op. 37a, and the four Chopin Scherzi. A pre-concert lecture will take place at 7 p.m.

The concert was postponed due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, the press release said.

Tickets for the original Oct. 17 date will be valid for the Oct. 19 date. Ticket holders who are unable to attend the rescheduled concert date should contact the Philharmonic Society’s Patron Services Dept. at (949) 553-2422.
