Want to pledge your eternal burning love to Elvis Presley?

Fans are invited to celebrate the King at the 16th annual Elvis Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa.

The event, held each year near the anniversary of Presley’s death on Aug. 16, 1977, will commemorate his music and his favorite cars and food.

Three stages will feature tribute artists performing a variety of songs, including gospel music from Presley’s Grammy Award-winning album “How Great Thou Art.”

The festival also will present the King of Cadillacs Car Show, a display of Cadillacs from 1950 to 1977 owned by Orange County and Inland Empire car enthusiasts.

Food trucks will serve everything from an Elvis burger dressed with peanut butter, bacon and caramelized bananas to a Blue Suede Shoes Melt with peanut butter, blueberry jelly and bacon on brioche.

The finals of the Crème de la King contest of KaraokeFest 2015 will be held at noon.

To top it all off, the King of Sundaes Ice Cream Eating Contest will be presented by Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants at 2 p.m.

The Orange County Market Place, a weekend swap meet, is at the OC Fair & Events Center, 88 Fair Drive. The festival is included in the swap meet admission price of $2. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
