Pet of the Week

Share

Windy has the most popular breed look with her Bengal cat marble-patterned markings, but shelter workers have not found the right match for her personality.

It’s not easy being beautiful when everyone wants you and no one sees your essence and needs.

Community Animal Network does its best to match an animal’s personality with family members and their lifestyle. And when there is an opportunity to socialize the kitties with children, the shelter is happy to do so, but some tremble at loud sounds.

Therefore, since workers had the litter live with a family for a week, they observed that Windy and her sister Misty are not suited for an active family with children.

It is especially important to interview the mother in a family that has small children to see how she manages the kids, and at the same time consider the temperament of the animal.

Another concern regarding the placement of animals in homes with young children is that the pets may run away when doors are left ajar.
