Pets of the Week: Carmela and BeBe

Share

Community Animal Network’s attempts to use social media to find a foster home for two kitties whose lives are at risk at the Upland Animal Shelter have not been successful, and we need to ask for your help.

Two tortoiseshell kittens, Carmela and BeBe, were adopted from Community Animal Network in 2009, and their owner said she gave them away and is unable to take responsibility.

When animals need to be rescued a second time, it breaks our hearts. Our goal is to “rescue back” Carmela and BeBe. All our current rescue caregivers are at capacity with rescue animals, and we need your help!

Even if you have cats of your own or other animals, a separate room can be a life-saver. Community Animal Network will provide cages if there is any concern about inappropriate urination or scratching of furniture.

Community Animal Network will provide the flea treatment and cover the cost of any veterinary care needed; you provide food, litter and love.

These kitties can be delivered to your home, and you will be considered a life-saver!

We believe people are held back from adopting adult animals for fear of adopting a vet bill. That’s why Community Animal Network prepares our “pre-loved” adult cats for adoption like a Mercedes dealership would prepare a “pre-owned” Mercedes to sell.

We hope donations will cover their exams and any treatments necessary to be adopted again. We estimate our costs to be $300 per cat.
