Pet of the Week

The teenage model kittens, Cloudia (Diluted Torti) and Orange Roughy (Buff Orange), recently appeared in a full-page fashion ad for Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom, giving a push to the latest mini-purses shown as this spring’s must-haves.

The Parker family of Costa Mesa rescued Cloudia and Roughy’s mom just prior to her giving birth. Unlike so many other rescue kittens born outdoors, these were born in a home and have been well-loved, making them social and very loving.

Cloudia and Roughy were always the most confident of the six kittens, and it wasn’t surprising that they were headed for stardom. Born in July of last year, they are just typical active teenagers at home who play hard and then settle down in the evening and like to cuddle.

They are seeking to be truly loved for who they are and not for their fame. Meet them on Sundays at the Fashion Island pet adoption event sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience.
