Family New Year’s Eve at OC Great Park

The Orange County Great Park will stage its inaugural Family New Year’s Eve celebration from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. As 9 p.m. approaches, there will be a countdown coinciding with the clock striking midnight on the East Coast. New Year’s Eve at SOL Cocina

SOL Cocina will add twists to their traditional Baja cuisine for New Year’s Eve. Other New Year’s Eve activities will include a live deejay from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., a champagne toast at midnight, raffle prizes and a contest for the best New Year’s hat, which wins dinner for two at SOL. The restaurant, at 251 E. Coast Hwy., Newport Beach, will also provide free rides home, though some restrictions apply.
