Tall Ships Sailing In

The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain will be at the Newport Sea Base, 1931 W. Coast Hwy. The ships will be open for walk-on tours from 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 28 to 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 4 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 3. At 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, the ships will host guests for a three-hour Battle Sail replicating naval war maneuvers from the Revolutionary War and War of 1812.
