Black Thursday

The Macy’s stores at South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, and Fashion Island, 401 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, will open at midnight, giving holiday shoppers a head start to one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Express at Fashion Island will also open at midnight, along with the following stores at Irvine Spectrum, 71 Fortune Drive, Irvine: Macy’s, Old Navy, Foreign Exchange, GameStop, Levi’s, L’Occitane and Target.

Marine Gift Drive

The Orange County Great Park and city of Irvine are holding a holiday gift drive for the families of Irvine’s adopted Marine unit. Unwrapped gifts will be collected for the Marines at the Great Park Visitors Center and at its Sunday Farmers Market. Shabbat Service
