Black Jack

Cynthia Steyer has rescued Black Jack and his tortoiseshell sister, but the black 4-month-old kitten needs his damaged eye removed. The estimate is $500 to $700. She is willing to give the time to drive to and from the vet and our weekend adoption events at Fashion Island, and we would like to help with the surgery costs.

Rescuing can be costly and is a challenging proposition these days, but we would like to ask for the public’s help with donations for Black Jack.

Community Animal Network continues to receive calls from local people needing help with an animal. We are unable to help everyone because we ourselves don’t have enough foster families, or funds to meet the need.

The Dalmatian that we called Dusty was removed from the abandoned warehouse and the good news was that a microchip lead to finding the owner.
